Hip and inexpensive maternity clothes?
Is that an oxymoron? Can you have hip and inexpensive maternity clothes? Of course you can! When I was pregnant with our first child. I gained 44 lbs and the only place I could get inexpensive clothes for work is at Motherhood. But their selection is not what I’d call hip. So when I was pregnant with our 2nd and 3rd child, I was more in shape (no more Big Macs for me! I learned from my 1st pregnancy). I was able to “squeeze” into my regular clothes (in bigger size) for a little bit of time.ÂI found that Old Navy, Target have nice and hip looking maternity clothes, and Gap Maternity…has great clothes when it’s on sale.
What I don’t understand is how can maternity clothes cost so much? And it’s only for 9 months. I’d recommend buying only what you need for a few months, because your belly grows so fast. That was my mistake, I bought too many outfits and ended up not wearing a lot of them.
