Drive through windows are a mother’s bestfriend!
Can you relate with the following scenario once or twice in your “Mommy’s world”?
Your 10 months old baby has been up since 5:00 AM SHARP! She decided that’s a good time to play and refuses to go back to sleep. Your other two sons, ages five and three had nightmares twice the night before, waking you up til the crack of dawn.Â
You are functioning on a 3 hours sleep, while your husband…slept like a log (angry growl). After the two boys went off to school, you decided to take your baby to get milk. About 2 minutes until we get to the grocery store, she fell…asleep (ugh!)!!
What do you do? If you take her into the grocery store, she will definitely wake up from her restful slumber!! And all you needed was MILK!!! (more ughs!) This is when you thought…DRIVE THROUGH windows.
There should be a drive through window for every business out there, don’t you think? Like,
- Pharmacies (all you need is to pick up that @#!&! med)
- Wal-Marts (one stinky bag of diaper!)
- Dry cleaners (been there and done that…holding your sleeping baby in one hand and a bundle of your husband’s shirts in the other, can you picture that?!)
- Grocery stores (milk run will be a cinch)
- Chinese restaurants (you’re on your way to eat as a whole family, and one or two of the kids fell asleep…take out w/o leaving the car to pick up the food)
- Nail salons (yeah, you can stick your hand out of the window for a manicure, can’t you?! But then again, when’s the last time you had a manicure or pedicure?)
Oh alright, I digress a little with the nail salons, but you get my point, don’t you? See you at the drive throughs!
