My kids race their BMX bikes and my wee lad (6) is pretty hard on himself when he races badly (as opposed to simply losing) and is having to learn to control his mood until he's well off the track. Something he had problems with on Saturday.

So, driving off to our Motel he asked for McDonalds (that scottish restaurant) for dinner.

Me: Why?

Him: To celebrate our good racing!

He did have the grace to look bashful as I laughed!

At the dinner table

My 8 years old boy told me : "Mommy, I have a trick for you !"
My 3 years old girl stopped eating and had an upset look at her brother : "No, you can not do a trick to Mommy because she is so pretty !"

Of course , Mommy really enjoyed to hear it :-)
