A Mom’s love is infinitely precious!
Now that I am a mother, three precious times, I truly know what it’s like to love my own Mom…infinitely more now than before!!
When we were growing up, we think we know all the answers, we think we are wise beyond anybody, we are invincible, and no matter what our Moms say…only we matter! The many fights that we had with our Moms over the littlest things just seem so trivial and very silly now.
Some things changed along the way to motherhood. We learned to love, to care, to be proud of, to nurture somebody else besides ourselves. And we should thank our Parents, but especially our Moms for teaching us all these important lessons in life.
Our children is the reason for this wonderful change in perspective. When we marvel at our children, we see the innocence, the naivete, the fragility and all we want to do is to protect and love them unconditionally. And that’s what our Moms have done for us every single breath of her days and it will only cease when we are unfortunately motherless.
Our Mom has been through eight childbirths with her three daughters. During our recovery period, Mom took time out of her own work schedule to assist us and our newborns, sometimes up to two weeks.
Mom had never complained and boy…she had lots of energy (we call her the Energizer bunny!). She would cook, take care of our newborn while we napped, tidy up our house for us and constantly doing things within those two weeks.
And boy, we miss her terribly when she went back to her own home (eventhough it’s only 40 minutes away)!
So to reserve only one day (Mother’s day) to celebrate all the Moms in the world is not sufficient enough…it should be celebrated 365 days out of the year and we should count our blessings that we were brought into this world and be loved by our Mom unconditionally and without prejudice in whatever we do!
From all of us…we truly love, tremendously respect and immensely admire you Mom with all our hearts and soul!! *big hug and kiss*

I have almost cried while reading this .. When it’s time to talk about parents, i always feel not having enough words to express how important and wonderful they are to me in this world .
How lucky you are to have such a wonderful Mom. My mother passed away during my pregnancy with my daughter Amy, now 22 years old. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about her and am really sad that she never got to meet my 2 beautiful children and now 2 grandsons.I thank God for all the things that she taught me and prepared me to live my life to the fullest everyday.I can still hear her voice when I need guidance in my life and I smile to myself every time. So……… appreciate every minute that you have with your Mom.You are truely blessed to have her!!!!
This is a beautiful post. I think the bond between a mom and daughter is very special. I thank my mom all the time for being such a great mom.
When I was younger,I just thought all kids had a mom and dad who adored them. I didn’t know that parents hurt and abused their kids until I was older and 2 of my friends told me what really went on in their house. It was a nightmare.
Your mom sounds like my mom….loving,caring,giving. We are very lucky.
