Kids’ rooms makeover…by Mommy!

March 7th, 2006

If you have three children under the age of five…you’d know it’s very expensive to clothe and raise them. So any way I can save a buck…you can count me in!

So when the time comes to decorate their rooms, I went searching for bargains and ideas. I get my “inspiration” from Pottery Barn Kids’ catalogs and HGTV (love this channel!!). I love everything they have in the catalogs but everything is WAAAAY too expensive.

A big milestone for…Mommy!

March 6th, 2006

This has been a very big milestone weekend for me. My five years old son, Tyler, had his first sleepover at his cousin’s house, my sister’s house in my entry about (Decluttering your house).

I was apprehensive at first because this would be the first time he’s ever ever ever, did I say that already, ever been away from home :(. I’m not sure who’s more anxious, my son for being away from home the first time ever. Or me for having to let go of my son for one night the first time ever eventhough it’s only to my sister’s house!

My own book club!

March 5th, 2006

I’m taking a break from bombarding you folks with information about pregnancy, parenting and babies and instead dabbing into a subject that’s very dear to my heart…books and reading!!

Having three rambunctious little rascals (under the age of five *hypnotized*) and writing this blog doesn’t give me an excuse not to read.

So any chance I get, I’m glued to a good book (that’s sitting on my throne if you must know…don’t give me that disgusted look, Al Bundy does it all the time! *innocent grin*)!! And only if it doesn’t interfere with (Mommy’s Primetime TV.).

Here’s the final shopping list for you first-time parents. I know, it’s pretty overwhelming isn’t it?! Try having three kids, but then again…there would be alot of hand-me downs. And you know how I love that and dual-purpose products. (Baby products 101 & Baby Products-for the home and car).

If you have a shopping list of your own…feel free to send it in to us. Thanks!

Baby products-for the home and car.

March 2nd, 2006

I’ve decided to add some more items to my previous list (Baby products 101) at a suggestion of a good friend, and a mother of two, to help you first-time mothers with your shopping list for your pride and joy.

Having three children under the age of five, being practical and frugal is not a choice but a way of life. So, when I buy any products…they have to serve dual-purpose, if possible.

Some of the baby products in the market place, I think, are very frivalous and impractical. So it’s up to you to decide what works for you and your baby.
