“Calgon…take me away!!!”
It’s 7:07 AM EST, I’m crankily surrounded by my 2 rascals who look like Hugh Heffner in their jammies. I say “crankily” because my day already started at 3:37 AM this morning!! *very angry* AND this is the second day week month in the row!
Trent (3) woke up at 3:37 AM because he had to go pee, this potty train thing is really annoying, eventhough I’m saving A TON of money from not buying any more pull ups.
As I’m taking Trent to the bathroom to do his thing, Tyler (5) called “Mommy, I need a tissue!”
AND, Sophia (15 months) cried because she’s been teething…the past month and a half!! AGHHHH!!
After holding her, consoling her, trying to put her back in her crib 3 times without success, I gave her some Tylenol and milk and put her back in her crib, crawled into my bed and the clock ticktocked at 4:30.
5:10 AM, Trent cried AGAIN and my poor husband, who’s still sick from too many business trips lately, woke up and gave both boys milk and whispered agrily to “leave Mommy alone, go back to your room!” As I lay there with one eye opened (because as all mothers know, we don’t sleep like a log any more and would jump at the tiniest sound), thinking to myself “and he wants the 4th kid?”
5:25 AM, still in bed and I hear my door opened with Tyler leading the pack, and Trent followed behind dragging his toy chair on the floor!! Tyler came in and said “Mommy, the tooth fairy didn’t come!” (He lost a front tooth yesterday, finally! Yup, that tiny white thing is his tooth under his pillow with no money.)

So needless to say, I’ve been up since 3:37 AM, and it’s going to be one cranky household since everyone is sleep deprived! Happy Friday to you too! *yawn*

I know what you mean about the teething thing. It seems like my son has been teething forEVER!
First time at your blog (returning your visit to mine — thanks!) Sleep interruptions are sure tricky. I hope you get some better sleep the rest of the weekend!
