Relax

This week’s theme on Mamasaysom is Relax.

We were finally blessed with the hot summer heat after being flooded with rain the past few weeks. It was nice to see the kids enjoying the water slides and their little makeshift pool in the yard after being confined to the four walls, that is our home, malls or just any where indoor.

This picture of my son, Tyler, conjures up images of rest and relaxation. Oh how I wish I can be five once again. So carefree and so relaxed! All he needs is a juice box next to him and he is all set for the day. AHHH!

It’s been 100 plus here for a week now. That picture just looks so refreshing and relaxing. I’ll bet the cool water on his tummy just feels wonderful! I think I’ll try that to cool off!!!! : ) Mandy

He makes me want to go buy a slip and slide, soap it up and go for a spin. But I”ve seen a few adults try this and it’s never pretty. Guess playing with the hose will have to suffice! Stay cool :)

I wish my husband would let us have a slip-n-slide! What fun! But he wont because it will kill the grass.
Nice picture. You son is precious. It looks like a refreshing afternoon.

The weather has been crazy around here, too! Love those slip-n-slides…I, too, wish I could relax like a child, but really what do they have to worry about? They have us to fix every meal and keep them safe for years to come…if only we could live our lives backwards we could appreciate childhood so much more!

I want a slip n slide, too! He looks like he’s beating the heat! I know what you mean, it’s so hard to relax when your a mom and responsible for everything!

This describes the climate and the days here as well…only the heat has gotten oppressive. Funny that a “cold front” is when it gets back down to 90-degrees!

We were in VT during that heatwave and it was STILL beastly hot. Could’ve used a slip ‘n’ slide!

Great shot!
