DVR-THIS couch potato’s dream

September 29th, 2006

What’s your plan for the weekend? Me? You can find me comfortably planted in front of the tube, with the clicker in one hand watching all the shows that we taped on our new DVR!!

What’s that? My hubbie and the kids? Oh, I don’t know what their plans are either. I’m sure they won’t know I’m missing. ;-)

Don’t feel bad for the hubbie, he will have all the football games taped as well, and will get his couch potato time too.

My sisters-My best of friends

September 27th, 2006

Love Thursday is upon us once again and I’m dedicating this post to my two sisters who are my best-est of friends.

This picture was taken last November when all 53 of us siblings, cousins, uncles, aunts and in-laws all gathered in San Jose for our uncle’s wedding. He finally settled down and found love at 50 years young to a lovely lady who is two years his junior.

Heroes-Another reason to get a DVR

September 25th, 2006

Another pilot show tonight and I’m so digging this new show calls “Heroes” on the Peacock channel.  It follows a group of people from all over the globe from all walks of life with extraordinary abilities (this was taken from here, save me the typing folks).

As a total eclipse casts its shadow across the globe:

Chinese boy, I am not

September 24th, 2006

Tyler brought home his first teacher’s note of his First Grade year last week. It’s never good when you get a teacher’s note, and it’s no exception in this case. Here’s what the note said:

Hello Mrs. (insert my name),

I wanted to inform you of an incident that happened today between Tyler and another boy.

Love is in the air

September 20th, 2006

Love Thursday is the brain child of Karen and Irene. And let me tell you, there were abundance of LUUUVVV this past weekend, handcuffs or no handcuffs, Jeff!

Here are some more pictures of our first mini getaway this past weekend. We spent the last day at Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, MA.

It was so tranquil and serene, you can be sure that there was a wedding ceremony happening not too long ago on this beach, as evidence by this makeshift canopy.
