Soooo, we’re off*
Ok, so I’m addicted to blogging!!!!
Thanks to Crackberry, Blackberry, yes we brought it with us on our first getaway (in six years), and I checked emails this morning (and yes, I love getting comments!) and stuff and lo and behold, deleted my post on where we were going for the weekend BY MISTAKE!! And I can’t get that post back! Can you hear me crying in the background?!!Â
Yes, we are having a very good time at this nice B&B but missing my three adorable kids like MAD (I’ll post it more when we get back), but I’m still kicking myself for checking my blog! See what you gentle readers are doing to me?! I have to check into a Blog rehab now.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments folks. I got a chuckle out of Jeff’s comment about the handcuffs thing. And NO, that’s not what Sweatspants Mom’s post is all about. And Dennis, you clever man! Make sure you say hi to my sister next store when you bring the fresh steaks for that mean dog!

OH I love a good bed and breakfast– though I do believe they are often over rated. Antique stuff makes me feel like a princess, but I can see your point– it is a little spookie.
And you know what now that i think of it, I do kind of feel like an intruder in someone’s house– and no i don’t think I like to talk to people. Hmm? Maybe i don’t love them as much as I thought.
OH!!! BUT you’ll have NO KIDS!!!! You’ll have a great time– sleep, sleep and a little of something else or a lot. You’ll get to eat HOT food without cutting everyone’s food up– yipppeee!!!!
I’m actually a pretty private person in real life, so I totally see where you’re coming from on the not wanting to talk to strangers…

When you sent us over to Sweatpantsmom where it was “too cozy to do this” the first thing I saw was a pair of handcuffs - and I thought “Good for you - KINKY!”
I wouldn’t worry about the thin walls and the other rooms. Be selfish. Just have fun and only think about yourselves!!!
Congratulations on your getaway! We took our first sans-child trip last month for our anniversary, and had a great time. I must admit thought that our toddler is only 18 months old. Wow, it’ll be great to have a vacation alone after 6 years!

By the way I am on my way over to your house as we need a new t.v. So what is needed are wire-cutters for the alarm, fresh steak for the dog next door and donuts and coffee for the cops down the street…LOL
