Love is in the air
Love Thursday is the brain child of Karen and Irene. And let me tell you, there were abundance of LUUUVVV this past weekend, handcuffs or no handcuffs, Jeff!
Here are some more pictures of our first mini getaway this past weekend. We spent the last day at Town Neck Beach in Sandwich, MA.
It was so tranquil and serene, you can be sure that there was a wedding ceremony happening not too long ago on this beach, as evidence by this makeshift canopy.

We couldn’t help ourselves and joined in, pretending to take our vows once again. But this time, in shorts, sandals and capri pants. I know, the corniness is dripping from this photo, as my sisters would say.

How about this heart-shaped rock that we found and a leftover rose, could have been a groomsman’s boutonniere that was left behind, just for us.

As we sauntered on the boardwalk below, each plank has been inscribed with personal messages (I can only assume that it was something like “sponsor a plank” for charity), and this one message stood out amongst the other hundreds. “Love & Live Life W/Zest”

Didn’t I tell you there was “Love In The Air”, and lots of it?!

If you drip with corniness, then we are going to be friends for sure.
I love it!
Who took the picture for you?
I don’t think that’s corny at all. It’s making me grin like a fool.
really nice pics.
Those are really swwet pics.
How sweet is that??? Very sentimental…
That is such a romantic little canopy. At least you got your husband to stand there with you long enough for a pic. Mine would have rolled his eyes and asked if we could go back to the B&B for a nap!
I love the pictures and the heart shaped stone …
My love thursday is up as well …
What a great post. We got married on the beach and it was wonderful!
Happy Love Thursday Eve!
Wow .. I could really use a little love right now … I’m going to come back and read this post again and again - it makes me happy!
How cool with the canopy and the renewed vows…tres romantique.
What a great anniversary for you. Zest and heart-shaped rock. What more could a girl ask for????
Isn’t it wonderful that you’d marry each other all over again? What great pictures. Thanks for stopping by!
The universe was feeling Lovin’ that day! Excellent photo’s!
That canopy makes me want to get married again. I always wanted to get married on the beach.
I love the way somebody arranged the rocks leading up to the canopy… like you’re walking down the aisle! I’m beside myself with jealousy.
Geez, you’re making me wanna call the hubby and get all mooshy. lol
Great pics!
such beautiful pictures!
happy love thursday!

I asked this young guy who was on his way fishing to take a picture, he must have thought “TOURISTS”! But we had a good laugh afterwards.
I totally dig the corniness!
Wonderful memory! I wish something like that would happen to us–we eloped and I don’t have a single wedding picture. Sad as I am, I don’t think it’s corny at all!
that’s lovely. I would’ve done the same thing with the canopy.
I personally am adverse to spending time on a beach for any reason…however the pics were terrific!
Love was definately in the air! (Did you bottle any for the trip home?)
Corny can be good!
Very sweet.
How sweet :^)
Love is in the air every sight and every sound…
Idon’t know if I’m being foolish,
I don’t know if I being wise…
sorry that song was just bursting to get out…
That was beautiful… I lOOOOOOOVED it and all its corniness…
It must be lovely to have a wedding ceremony done in the beach.
Thanks for stopping by.
