LOL! That was the first thing I thought when you said he gave you a used clicker (the comment about “stuff”, ewwww!) I would have asked for a new one too! I love our DVR. However, it’s hard to even watch the taped shows. I taped Nip/Tuck and started to watch it for the first time, and whoa! I had to turn off quickly before girls entered the room (they had been outside with dad) Definately, a late night catch up show!

That sounds positiviely divine. Not the yucky clicker, Congrats on getting a new one BTW, but on the service. We don’t have cable or a satellite, just an antenna, but I will have to look into it.

Oh, I want a DVR almost as badly as I want a personal chef, but I just. can’t. submit! AAAH! The torture of not caving into $10 more a month.

My husband has been bugging me to consider something like Tivo. I would LOVE it, honestly, but…. I know that I have a true tendency to become a couch potato myself, and am afraid that I’d just get hooked on some more shows. Like Ugly Betty!!!!! Couldn’t watch it because it’s on while the kids are going to bed. As was The Office. On competing channels.

Hm. Come to think of it, maybe I would invest if one could record more than one show in a particular time slot!
