My daughter totally has me wrapped around her little finger, and she knows it - so I don't usually stand a chance when she wants something. But just wait until she asks to go out on her first date though. I'll bet I don't have any trouble saying "no" then!

MoTR~My hubbie can attest to the fact that business travel is nothing glamorous or exciting. Living out of your suitcase in strange hotels, in a strange land, with sometimes strange people is nothing exciting! But the upside is that we get lots of mileage from these trips. We did use the miles for a 10 day trip to LegoLand for five people this past April. So not too shabby I guess.

P.S. I just visited another blog and her husband was in Barcelona on business. What is it with all these international trip? And where can I get a job like that?? :)

That picture is absolutely priceless. I hope it gets framed.

We don't have a son (yet) but there is definitely something that impresses me about my husband's relationship with our daughter. It wasn't what I had expected, I guess. I hadn't realized just how SOFT he can be, how appreciative of her preciousness. And I hadn't realized how well she would be able to handle his courseness, not ever getting ruffled at how loud and masculine he can be.

If anything, it makes me hope our next one is a girl, not a boy, just so I can see more of that specialness in my husband.
