The best birthday gift ever

Today I turned 5.43 years old, as in dog years.

I think that sounds better than the actual human age. I’m sure you folks will figure that out. I’m not really hung up on turning older but I guess the number is just too big to comprehend. I hope that makes sense. Either that or I’m really losing my marbles turning one year older and talking gibberish…as usual.

To celebrate the occasion, my oldest sister was asked volunteered to have our three rascals sleep over on Saturday while the hubbie and I went out and paint the town red.

Well, we wouldn’t know what to do “painting the town red” since we’ve been out of practice for so long and with my condition (oh, you have to read on to find out what!). Any occasions that involve eating out would be with the three kids and our method is “chew and screw”. Or the hubbie would finish his meal bionicly (yeah, that’s a word) fast and takes the kids outside the restaurant while I leisurely enjoy the lukewarm grub.

After dropping off the kids on Saturday (no tears this time from…me), we went downtown Boston and had a nice relaxing lunch and afterward went to see him.

By the time the movie ends, my shirt was a puddle of drool. I’m totally in love with this new 007! This has got to be the best Bond film I’ve seen for a long time. I was totally into Pierce before this movie came out. But after watching this new yummy, hottie Bond, Pierce was just another pretty cabana boy, purely eye candy.

I mean don’t get me wrong, this hunk is all eye candy too but he can really kick butt and still looks good dripping in blood, and that bod. Oh alright, I’ll stop here for now, the male readers are probably puking up phlegm as we speak. It’s an awesome movie with lots of action, sexy women, evil villains, fast car (move over Bimmer, Aston Martin is definitely da bomb!) and just all around great movie. I know I’m such a movie critic. If you’re going to see it, let me know and I’ll tag along. ;-)

As for the birthday gift? Well, I received it three months ago and won’t be able to “open” it until next June! What the heck is she talking about? Will this picture help?

That’s right folks, call us crazy but we are expecting our 4th pride and joy! And this is it for me! I’m putting my uterus on a PERMANENT HIATUS after this!!

How’s that for a birthday gift huh? Next year, I’m asking my hubbie for this as a birthday gift.

Here’s a picture of the birthday girl (not a day over 21, ahem…) surrounded by my 3.5 adorable children!! This was taken at my sister’s on Sunday, not only did she babysit the kids, she even made lots of food for all of us to enjoy as well. Thanks sista! You’re the best! Got to go folks, I’m the baby’s drooling for some leftover cannolis.

Thanks for all the nice words everyone, and OTJ, you certainly know how to make a grown woman blush, Jessica! My hubbie will definitely say “don’t let it go to your big head already!”

Betty,
First of all, I was all about that new Bond movie, but will have to miss it because all I’ll be able to think about is how your shirt front was covered in drool, and not the cute, toothless baby kind of drool!

Second, OTJ was right. You and yours are absolutely gorgeous!

Congratulations!

Happy Birthday!!

your sister’s grub has made me…peckish LOL

Squeeeeeeeeaaaaaalllllll! Congratulations!!

Here’s a little bit of weirdness about me for you. I usually hate seeing pictures of my fellow bloggers. I usually have my own image all set up in my mind and then am completely surprised to find they look nothing like I pictured. You, my dear, are the exception to the rule. You–and your children–are absolutely beautiful, just as I pictured.
