Love is a bucket of finger-lickin’ good KFC

For the past few days, all I’ve been dreaming of is this

109581899_9c989dd23b.jpg

yup, a bucket of those finger-lickin’ good chickens, only the drumsticks please. The more trans fat, the better. Bring it on, I say!!

I know I’m making a bunch of you sick of me talking about food all the time ever since I got knocked up again for the 4th time. So, to those folks, I want to say “the baby’s making me do it, I swear!” Everything just looks so good!! I mean, all I can think of is food, morning, noon AND night. I’m actually drooling while typing this and glancing at that gigantic bucket up above. SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

I promise I’ll have something better to discuss on this blog soon, yeah very soon but for now…you’re going to have to drool along with me and share the calories. Remember how I said I can eat a bowl of broccolis over a bowl of chocolates? Was I possessed or something?! I love me some silky dark chocolates right about now. The richer the better.

There is an explanation for this craziness, I think that since this IS my last pregnancy…I’m letting loose and enjoy all the foods I can eat. I’ve never been like this with my other three pregnancies. It was always healthy eating and sometimes an indulgence here and there but never this bad. But I do have my three active children who won’t let me sit and enjoy these indulgences for too long. So, hopefully I won’t look like a sumo wrestler after 9 months.

This post might be a pathetic take on Love Thursday, visit here for more of Love Thursday posts.

I went through a pink phase when I was pregnant with Q. Watermelon. Then raspberry freezes. Then watermelon jello. Distinctly weirder than KFC, I think!

LOL, I soooooooo remember all those pregnancy cravings. Mine usually would last till I got TONS of what I craved, and then it suddenly stopped, leaving me with a fridge full of something which I wasn’t going to eat anymore.

I think I still might have pumpkin soup from one of those episodes…

When I was pregnant, I craved MEAT. I wanted a meatball sub. Steak. A juicy burger.

But, I was a vegetarian. For 10 years.

It was no going back. I’m a total meat convert. It’s the baby! Don’t fight it sister!

LOL!!! I’m not a huge fan of KFC but also being preggo like yourself, it sounds good right about now.
Although I am having Chinese food for lunch today, this is another 1 of my faves.
I so know what you mean, I’ve been so bad with eating bad with this pregnancy, also knowing this is my last that I don’t care. Now with the terrible swelling I have in my legs/feet & hands I don’t know if I just look like a heffalump becuase of the pregnancy or because of the fat I’ve been eating.
I’m already formulating a workout regimen for after the baby is born & Weight Watchers of course too.

I guess that beats the alternative of being nauseous from morning sickness and not wanting to eat anything! And you better get it while you can, before more cities make trans fats illegal!

Yup, I used my pregnancy to eat whatever I wanted. Who’s going to deny food to a pregnant woman? Enjoy!

What is it with you and Tony and the KFC? How many times do I have to tell you guys? Popeyes rocks the house! A bucket of Popeyes spicy chicken and sometimes I feel like I’m pregnant!

Hey, don’t kid yourself - having a baby inside your tummy growing is HARD WORK! not to mention having to chase around three other kids while doing it. Eat! You need the energy.

I say enjoy enjoy enjoy!

Happy LT. I hope someone brings you home a bucket of KFC really soon.

Tony~I was thinking about your obsession with KFC while writing this post.

Jeff~Isn’t that crazy about cities making trans fat illegal in restaurants? I understand that they need to remove it at fast food restaurants as children tend to frequent those places. But at “adult” restaurants? I think I’m old enough to decide what’s good and bad for me, don’t ya think? That’s just ridiculous!! The government needs to find other better causes to fight.

MetroDad~See, we don’t have a Popeyes around here so I have to settle for KFC. Too bad they don’t make them spicy though. There’s always extra hot sauce.

When I was pregnant with my daughter I wanted brats and those disgusting Mickey’s mini-donuts all the time. Oh and Dairy Queen peanut butter cup Blizzard.

My son I don’t really recall too many cravings I guess.

I’m with the rest of the pack here, go for it Betty!

During my first trimester all I wanted was KFC, too! I hadn’t gone there in years and all of the sudden I was driving thru nightly!!!! Too Funny!

Eat up! Enjoy….. if you like dark chocolates try the Lindt Extra dark truffles…OMG!! Drool, Drool!

I am following weight watchers right now, intent on getting into shapoe, just to get pregnant again…. so at least I’ll have a healthier starting point than last time…however I am longing for the day (after morning sickness that is) that I can dive into whatever tickles my fancy, guilt -free of course, because like you it will be my last pregnancy!!

Girl, I would say that this was a job for Tony! But I see he has already commented.

I guess that just leaves your hubz to come to the rescue!

Good luck!!

I say….let loose mama! You’ll never been able to enjoy this time again. Whatever “the baby” craves, you need to eat it for them. Don’t dare to deprive him or her……

I’m sure you’ll be fine throughout the pregnancy! Now you’re making me wish I had some KFC and also that I was pregnant. I miss that terribly!

When I was little I used to LOVE that rotating bucket on the KFC sign. Actually i still do but ours doesn’t have that anymore. Enjoy yourself some KFC and wash it down with a milkshake!!! Live it up, mama!

I understand, I love KFC too but somehow I just never buy it–there isn’t one close and then I have a hard time passing up a Quiznos or Taco Bell. Sometimes it takes a massive pregnancy craving to pull me that direction.

HAHAHAHA!!! Three cheers for KFC!!!

GOtta love all that transfat, right??

And, um, I can relate to the sumo-wrestler, except it was the kid, rather than the mom.

I think KFC was still to blame, though;)))

Damn, I’m not pregnant and I’m craving KFC. Mmm, drumsticks and fake mashed potatoes with gravy. Ooh, and biscuits! When I was pregnant I had constant cravings for KFC and Taco Bell. Lucky for me they were usually combined under one roof!

mmmmm…. Finger lickin’ good — I once went to the drive thru and ordered 10 white meat breasts — to my surprise when I got to the window it came to $37… I ate for a week though!
