Love is in the elbow grease

Love is when your hubbie woke up one Saturday and decided he wanted to clean the stove,

stove-cleaning.JPG

I mean really clean the stove by using the screw driver to scrape off the grease.

And if that’s not enough in giving your pregnant wife a hand at cleaning, he even cleaned 2.5 baths with the Swiffer WetJet in his PAJAMAS.

I just hope his Mama will never see these pictures, she’s definitely going to cry. Something about Asian Moms never wanted to see their sons doing housework. I know, tell me about it. They are still a bit backward old fashion, and that’s women’s work. But then again, I might cry too if I see my sons doing that!

Happy Love Thursday!

Um, hello? This would never happen in my house. JP is not wired that way. He doesn’t have the part of the brain that actually recognizes dirt.

There is hope for your husband! Anyone using screwdrivers to clean appliances cannot be totally lost to the dark side yet!!

So sweet. You must be something special yourself if he’s willing to do this for ya!

Wonderful man you’ve got.

I WISH my hubby would do stuff like this! I am also training my sons to not be such Mama’s boys like he is. I want them to be fully self-sufficient and not be a needy husband when they are older. “Pick up after me, get me this, how ’bout doing that?” Puh-leeze! Don’t you feel inadequite having to have someone do absolutely everything for you? No Ma’am. My son’s will do laundry and windows if I have to kill myself trying to teach them!

Tell your hubby he’s awesome!

The only tears you should be crying when someday seeing your sons doing housework are tears of joy! From knowing you and your husband raised them right. ;->

Uh - please tell your hubby to knock it off. We certainly don’t need him giving our wives any crazy ideas. Sheesh.

My dear readers~you realize I have an ulterior motive in posting these pictures of the hubbie helping out right? I mean what better way to “entice” him to help out around the house then lots of compliments from other wives AND hubbies besides ME? HEE HEE!!

RRRRrrrrr, is right. There is NOTHING sexier than seeing a man getting in there and doing housework! I so agree. ;)

I want my boys to do housework too. I am trying to train them up right. I want them to be fully self sufficiant and not look at jobs and go that’s a “girls job” or a “boys job”. As my Mom always use to tell us, “the only difference between men and women is their plumbing”. Go Mom!
