Go Pats!
In prepping for the big game tonight, as we all know I’m the biggest fan biggest fair-weather fan, nothing says football grub more than a bucket of KFC, don’t forget the hot sauce. Which I’ve been craving for the past few weeks and finally able to get some today.
The hubbie was not exactly thrilled since the closest one to our house was about 25 minutes away (even if I was the one getting it!), his two cents was “do you really need it? You haven’t exactly been eating healthy with this pregnancy!”
Oh, he loves me so and who’s keeping track anyway! What baby wants baby will get, I’m just a pawn in the scheme of things. I mean nothing stands in a way of this preggo chick and her KFC. AND I’ll be having a durian shake for dessert, which my sister (next store) made. Durian? What’s that you asked? Well, to some it’s really an acquired taste, this fruit has a very strong scent but it’s oh so delish!!!

I know there was a benefit in having a big belly, it’s a perfect landing for the crumbs from that drumstick that didn’t make it home, classy gal that I am. How’s that for talent? Who said you can’t eat a drumstick and drive at the same time, but you didn’t hear it here.
So I had to post this early since the game will be on at 6:30 EST. Check back Tuesday with me when I’ll be spreading lots of love to you all. There’s even a contest. I know you can’t wait for Tuesday, me neither!!
GO PATS!!
Updated to add: Well, if you didn’t see the game, the Patriots lost 38-34 to the Colts. It was a good season, I have to say (but they should have won this game given the fact that they were up 18 points before half time). But then again, Peyton Manning deserved this! I’d be rooting for him at Super Bowl, go Colts until next season of course!

You sound like me and McDonald’s french fries during pregnancy. I went through many a drive-thru, feeling slightly guilty and dirty for sneaking off and getting fast food. But, it wasn’t up to me at that point!
I’d love to wax poetic about the beauty of the bucket but I’m weeping. So much weeping. Now I will go to bed and cry into my pillow.
Have an extra piece for me!
*sigh* It was all going so well until those last 34 seconds.
I hope you enjoyed your chicken. That was one thing I liked about being pregnant - Ring Dings. Mmmm.
Now I’m hungry.
That’ll keep you happy for a while-yum.
You sure this kid isn’t somehow related to Tony’s family???
hmmm, Oh and hello to hubs!
too funny. and to answer your husband’s question…..YES, you really needed it! Or, excuse me, the BABY needed it.
I’m glad you got to feed your craving.
It’s probably been 15 years since I’ve had KFC and now, thanks to you, I’m sitting here drooling! Excuse me while I grab the phone book to find the nearest KFC location cuz now I’ve got to get me some!!
KFC was actually one of the few things I could eat that didn’t make me sick while I was pregnant! At least that’s what I tell people! LOL!
NowI am so very hungry…
Durian shake, wow. I tried it but I think you might have to grow up with it to like it.
Grrrrrrrrl, you’re speaking my language showin’ heaven in a bucket like that (minus the “game” thing)
Your buckets look different than ours. i can’t decide which one I like more. Hmmm … I’ll post pics soon so you can see what I’m talking about.
I feel so special to have been included. It’s been really nice getting to know you too! I’m glad we have our “blog” friends to help us cope with the day to day stuff!
