As soon as I can tell it's a telemarketer on the other end I calmly ask the full name of the organization and then say, "Thank you. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry and I'll be filing a complaint with your name on it." It amuses me to hear them apologize profusely and then hang up before I can ask them any more questions. I would hang up on him because I thought it was so disgusting. Day off? Read the paper in bed and walk the dog on the beach. But with no kids, I get days off every weekend.
