Still waddling

Every morning my hubbie would ask “anything yet?”, meaning did I break my water in the middle of the night, drive to the hospital, had the baby, came home and didn’t wake him up? The answer would be “uh, see this bulging belly? Nope, nothing yet!”

Piglet is saying “I’m not coming out yet, it’s too cozy in here, a room to myself. Nobody to fight with…yet!”

Still waddling folks, with feet as huge as Bigfoot, hands that reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where he dated a woman with “man’s hands”, where she helped Seinfeld break the lobster in half, remember that? I think I retained about 40 barrels of water in these Fred Flintstones feet alone. Not to mention the heat exuding from the hands and feet, I feel like that guy Ted from Heroes.

Well, so much for that 1 cm dilated two Fridays ago. Piglet will come out when he’s ready, and on his own term. Some more time for me to eat what I won’t be eating after birth, that’s for sure. Well, a girl has to get back to her figure you know. Can’t have people wondering if I’m still pregnant, holding an infant in my arms. I know, I’m vain that way!

Anyway, thanks to all my blogging friends (2), especially Marz for checking in, I feel so loved! I’m still here, but all I’ve been doing is looking forward to my daily naps, eat, and plant myself on the couch nightly after the kids are in bed. I’ll be visiting my blogging friends very soon, I promise.

So, what’s going on in your world?

I think the ending part is the hardest part to get through. You know it can be any day now and yet the baby just refuses to come out. I think it’s because you’re providing such a warm comfortable home inside your belly! hee hee

Jolie came out 10 days late. The rudeness of it all…

Boy, that swellling packed on during the last weeks I felt like the Pillsbury dough boy.

Hang in there!

Glad you posted an update. I was really hoping that your hiatus meant “piglet” was already here. Oh well, enjoy the food for now.
Maybe he will decide to be a June 1st baby?
Keep us posted, you are loved!

The waiting is hard isn’t it?

I think both of my kids would still be in me if the doctors hadn’t removed them.

It won’t be long now!!

Thinking a good thought for you. So…. Anything yet? How about now? (Ducks to avoid anything you might be throwing)

Praying that little Piglet makes his appearance soon, safe and healthy. You’re right though, babies come when they’re good and ready. Some just take a little longer than others. At least he’ll come before the intense heat of the summer.

Marz,

Nothing yet. I guess he will be born on time at this rate. She went to the doctor yesterday and no further progress!

Just as a joke to your husband, you really should get up in the middle of the night, drive to hospital, have the baby and come home before he wakes up.

That would show him! Plus, it would be really funny.

Jeff - I would not be surprised actually if she did that given her personality. But you are right it would be really funny though. I would laugh for sure :)

Oh Hell’s Bells babies are stubborn little cusses, aren’t they? I had to have a c-section with both of my boys. I do believe I would still be pregnant if the doc hadn’t decided that surgery was the best course of action, those kids didn’t want to go anywhere! I thought Connor grabbed on to my uterus when he was being delivered because he REALLY really didn’t want to be born! :) I can NOT wait to hear you had the new baby and everybody is healthy and happy.
