Precious life

July 29th, 2007

It was a beautiful Sunday morning, I've been up early getting ready to pick up my aunt and her family, who was coming from Texas, for a week's vacation to Boston. A trip that was planned way in advance with exciting plans of visiting New York, a dual surprise party for our Mom's retirement and our oldest sister's 40th birthday on 7/28 while they were in town.

All plans were shattered and our lives were turned upside down with one single phone call from my Mom on that beautiful Sunday morning.

A party fit for a (teethless) prince

We have been planning a 30-day celebration party (a Vietnamese tradition) for Parker the first day he was born, which took place this past Saturday.

If you're a regular reader on this blog, you'd know that we I love/live to eat. And since we've had many parties in the past for such aforementioned occasion, we are now "pros" at party planning for over 50 people. When I say "we", I meant my "posse" of my super Mom and my two awesome sisters.

Here's a cornucopian of dishes of which the majority were homemade and some were ordered. Do you recognize any of the dishes? Commence drooling...now!

Got milk and look who’s one month today

If this post is too long for you folks, just skip over the words and look at the gratuitous pictures. I'm trying to squeeze everything into one post. With a baby gnawing at the "girls" every three hours, numerous stinky poopy diapers to be changed, keeping three kids occupied with activities, meals need to be prepared, house has to be cleaned, laundry to be done...there's not much time for me to write more than one post a week. C'est la vie with four kids...but I love it until somebody has a meltdown, and that includes ME!
