The pursuit of perfection comes to a disappointing end

Although we don’t bleed red, white and blue in true Patriots colors but it still hurts right now thinking about the disappointing loss of the Trophy to the Giants last night. Perfect season (18-0) comes down to one important game and boy did the Patriots blow it BIG!  It was just painful, like having the worst constipation kind of pain watching the game.

Did you watch the game? I’m no John Madden but I can tell you that the Patriots did not play like a champ, their defense AND offense teams were just terrible! What was up with Brady? I had this premonition when the camera showed Gisele in one of the boxes watching the game that it will be bad for the Patriots. You don’t bring your girl to the game, just ask Romo. Look what happened when Jessica went to the game…the Cowboys lost to the Eagles (it was Romo’s worst performance of his entire career), and they dubbed her Yoko Romo. I’m sure Briget Monahan is having a great laugh with J.E.T. right now.

I’m happy for Eli Manning though, he played very well. Some even commented that he’ll be the next Tom Brady. Isn’t this the first time for two brothers to win back-to-back Super Bowl? I always liked Tom Coughlin, he did a great thing for the Boston College football team. And the Giants’ defense was just awesome! It’s nice to be the underdog and came out on top, and not to mention they were the Wild Card team too.  Anyway, enough of my jibberish.

Even with the cutest cheerleaders didn’t bring the Patriots luck:

I’ve been so behind in keeping an updated record of Parker. Look what happened when you’re the 4th on the list. Well, here he is with his 4 teeth to his name. We dubbed him the “porker” since he weighs a whopping 22 lbs (100 percentile) at his 7th month check-up and 31 inches (80 percentile). He is now eating solids and loving it!  Still can’t roll over yet, his head weighs him down, I think, but he can sit up and very vocal.  When he wants to grab your attention, he’d yell “aaahhh aaahhh”.  Parker has been such an easy baby. He’ll give you the biggest smile if you would just look and talk to him.

Since he’s our last baby, we’ve been spoiling him and we’re still co-sleeping (I won’t hear the end of this from my friend TM! The other 3 “moved out” to their rooms at 3 months). Something about cuddling next to your baby is just heavenly. Every night I just stare at him in the dark, smell his baby breath, listen to his snores, hold his chubby hand and can’t help but feel a bit sad that he’ll be my last baby. I know you’ll think we’re crazy but if we were a bit younger, I think we’d have more kids. I mean, do you blame me?! Check out this chubby adorable face!!

Anyway, I have to wake up my little princess, I mean it’s already past 9:30.  It’s tough staying up past your bed time to watch your team lose!  Have a good week folks!  And to my friends who celebrate Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean/or just Asian New Year…have a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!!

Sorry your team lost. I’m not into football, but I watched the last 15 minutes or so.

Your kids are adorable of course. I can see why you’d want to make more.

Sorry about the Patriots. We are Chargers fans, so the SuperBowl results didn’t matter so much to us. I love your little cheerleaders!

I gotta tell you that I was very depressed after that loss. I typically do not like voting for the Patriots. Firstly, their head coach single-handedly (while playing at being a head coach with the Cleveland Browns) ruined Bernie Kosar.

Yes, bitter fan party of one here!

Secondly, the Pats starting QB is a graduate from that school with the Ugly Helmets and being a fan of the Scarlet and Gray, I cannot fully support Mr. Brady’s efforts.

However, on the plus side, they were the only team from the AFC in the big game and they did have a former Buckeye starting on defense.

So I threw my support (reluctantly) that direction and they failed me!

Cute baby!!
