Lend a helping hand

April 28th, 2008

"I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health. I said 'There's nothing that I can do for you that you can't do for yourself.' He said 'Oh yes you can. Just hold my hand. I think that that would help.' So I sat with him a while and I asked him how he felt. He said 'I think I'm cured.'"

A good friend of mine brought this to my attention and I'd like to share it with you and ask for your help. She sent me this link with a message that said "I was so touched and couldn't stop my tears coming out after seeing this girl."

March madness, Horton, and other stuff

April 1st, 2008

I've started this post last week when it was still March and now it's April. So many projects...so little time. Please excuse the mumble jumble!

No, I'm not referring to the March Madness as in the NCAA Tournament that's going on right now. I haven't been a fan of basketball since the awesome '80s with Larry Bird, Tiny Archibald etc..., although I should get on the band wagon since the Celtics are doing great this season. That's the kind of sports fan I am.
