Coming from a commie country to this capitalist paradise...you bet, I'm afraid of any mentioning of "having to share" my hard earned dollars! I'm all for charity and doing volunteer work but when Uncle Sam tries to help every single person (even ones who don't need help) and expects me to do the same...I might have a problem with that, not that we're raking in $250k per year. It's probably taken completely out of context but it doesn't matter, it was the perfect statement to beat the democrats with. I personally don't understand what everyone is so concerned about. Obama has no more power to turn our country into a socialist government than I do. And the way the term is being used isn't even accurate anyway - true socialism is not even possible in this day and age. The only thing Obama has said he wants to do is quit giving the wealthy people tax breaks and give their tax breaks to people like me who make waaaaay less than $250k per year.
