My Locks of Love
July 1st, 2008After reading about Ann Curry donating her hair to Locks of Love (LOL), I've decided to post about it on 8/20/2006 and took one step further to join her in growing out my hair for this great cause. I did have some concerns about LOL after doing some research on the net (in my last post), but if Oprah stands behind LOL, then it's certainly good enough for me.
Every time I see children who lost their hair due to terminal diseases, it just breaks my heart and I'm so glad I'm able to do my part, no matter how small. Almost two years later, I'm happy to say that I have my own 10 inches of locks to donate as well.
