Mother’s Day tradition

May 11th, 2008

Every previous Mother's Day, all the mothers in our families (that would be Mom, two sisters, sister-in-law and moi) spent our day cooking for the whole family. Our Mom prefers it that way since it would be so chaotic to have all twenty of us dining out. But not this year! I've made an executive decision for everyone...we're having our girls' day out! No screaming kids, no cleaning, no laundry, no errands, no chauffeuring anybody around, no changing diapers, no wiping bums, and no cooking for one day!!

Re: Damaged mailbox

Address: 123 Main Street

Our Town, USA

I'm writing to you regarding my mailbox which was damaged by "Our Town" plow truck. The incident took place on Thursday, 2/7/08 between 11:30 AM-12:00 PM.

At 8:00 AM, our mailbox was in good condition as I removed the previous day's mail before dropping my son and niece off at the bus stop for school.

The pursuit of perfection comes to a disappointing end

February 4th, 2008

Although we don't bleed red, white and blue in true Patriots colors but it still hurts right now thinking about the disappointing loss of the Trophy to the Giants last night. Perfect season (18-0) comes down to one important game and boy did the Patriots blow it BIG!  It was just painful, like having the worst constipation kind of pain watching the game.

Application to date my daughter

January 8th, 2008

How was everyone's holidays? I'm so glad this whole holiday business is over! I'm all about routine, kids are back to school and normalcy reigns supreme!! As much as I'm fussing over life with four kids thing and a hubbie...I can't find anything good to post about. It must be the "blogger's blues" that I'm going through. But that's not to say that things haven't been wild around here.

In-laws

November 29th, 2007

It's been so busy around here at Waya's house that I haven't blogged for a while. It's hard to come up for air while you're running in circles with four kids and a hubbie (oh alright, he's the easy part but how do people with more than four kids do it is beyond me!). And when I get the time to sit down to write at night, my mind goes to mush, my body aches, my eyelids are half closed and nothing creative comes out.
