Application to date my daughter

January 8th, 2008

How was everyone’s holidays? I’m so glad this whole holiday business is over! I’m all about routine, kids are back to school and normalcy reigns supreme!! As much as I’m fussing over life with four kids thing and a hubbie…I can’t find anything good to post about. It must be the “blogger’s blues” that I’m going through. But that’s not to say that things haven’t been wild around here.

In-laws

It’s been so busy around here at Waya’s house that I haven’t blogged for a while. It’s hard to come up for air while you’re running in circles with four kids and a hubbie (oh alright, he’s the easy part but how do people with more than four kids do it is beyond me!). And when I get the time to sit down to write at night, my mind goes to mush, my body aches, my eyelids are half closed and nothing creative comes out.

You know you’re in the boonies when…

your backyard is conversation land and Bambi visits whenever he wants

and he’s joined by a family of turkeys, unaware that Thanksgiving is around the corner. Even Tyler advised them to “go away turkeys, Thanksgiving is not here yet!”

This one is so bold that he’s (I’m assuming it’s a he) sneaking around by the side of our garage. Somebody should give him a head’s up that it’s not too wise to be roaming around in day light this time of year. You think?

Gotta believe!!

I know, I know…you’re saying “enough with the Red Sox alrighty!!” But as I mentioned in my last post, I’d only write about the Sox again if they win the World Series…and they certainly did tonight, a sweep of four game to none against the Colorado Rockies!!

WOW! What a nail biting game ’til the end. I’m dedicating this post to the remarkable John Lester, the starting pitcher tonight, who battled a rare form of non-Hodkin’s lymphoma last year at 22 years young. He kicked that nasty disease in the @ss and lead the Sox to their second World Series in three years. You are my MVP!!
