A celebration to remember-Wentworth by the Sea

February 12th, 2009

Edited to note: I failed to mention that without the help of my wonderful parents and dedicated sisters/husband, this trip would not have been possible.  Yes, we needed the whole “army” to take care of our four children, I mean with Parker alone (20 months) who gets into everything, you’d need two people on skates just to catch up with him.  A million thanks to my family!!  And I also posted some gratuitous pictures as well if you just want to skip over all the blah blah blah.

Do you have a nightly routine? I don’t mean sitting-on-the-throne kind of routine. I mean, what do you do to unwind nightly after the kids are in dream land. This applies to you DINKS, or single folks as well.

Me? I’m a pure couch potato and a “clicker”. My hubbie hates watching TV with me because I surf the TV like a typical man (isn’t that what you men are known for?), I don’t like watching commercials (who does?!) and have a very eclectic taste in the shows I watch nightly.

DVR-THIS couch potato’s dream

September 29th, 2006

What’s your plan for the weekend? Me? You can find me comfortably planted in front of the tube, with the clicker in one hand watching all the shows that we taped on our new DVR!!

What’s that? My hubbie and the kids? Oh, I don’t know what their plans are either. I’m sure they won’t know I’m missing. ;-)

Don’t feel bad for the hubbie, he will have all the football games taped as well, and will get his couch potato time too.

We’re baaack

September 17th, 2006

We did it! We had our first mini honeymoon getaway in six years, there were lots of things that we did and saw, so this post will be a bit lengthy. I will break it down to different categories by dates and by places and this little dohickey (~) in order to keep your interest right here at my humble blog.

Interactive DVD for children-A review

August 30th, 2006

You got to love the blogosphere! Well, for me anyway. I was approached by this company to review this DVD, something about me writing about my children “caught” their marketing eye. So if you, Sony folks, want moi to review a Plasma TV or just any TV’s, give me a holler. It has nothing to do with our one ancient TV that we have that’s on its last legs, really. And I promise to be objective.

The kids were really excited when we received the new DVD.
