Going Bonkers

August 27th, 2006

Although our first baby boy, Tyler, will be turning six (already?! Sniffle sniffle) this September, we decided to have an early birthday party for him and his former Kindergarten classmates this past Saturday (before the craziness of going back to school). The two-hour “shindig” was at Bonkers, eighteen kids were invited including his seven cousins among other 32,118 excited and screaming partygoers and their families.

Score! Educational centers.

If you are a parent, there is no doubt that you’d want the best for your children. For us, education is one of those “best” that we strive to provide for our children.

We were ingrained as children that education will lead you to achieve anything you aspire to be. Our parents have sacrificed a great deal in order for us to achieve our goals and dreams. And we are indebted to them for all they’ve done! ;-)

With that said, I’ve attempted to teach my 5 year old son, Tyler, Reading and Math…but I find myself lacking the patience of those home schooling Moms/Dads and Tyler ends up getting frustrated and dislike learning.

Meet us in San Diego!

May 2nd, 2006

If you’ve read my entry on (Family vacations…overrated?!), you know that we finally arrived in San Diego after a very looong day of traveling with 3 kids.

This entry is my review of San Diego. What a great city! We’d love to come back for another visit when the kids are much older!! ;-)

San Diego weather was great in April!! It rained a bit while we were there but it didn’t last long. Anything is better than the dreary cold New England weather. Even when it was overcast, we still got sunburn. So bring lots of suntan lotion for your little ones and yourself. My husband looks like George Hamilton now!!
